I am very surprised to hear the news obama comics into the world, other than the political course. An article appeared in this morning’s USA Today discussing president-elect Barack Obama’s depiction in a forthcoming issue of “The Amazing Spiderman.”

The marvel team is thrilled that the new commander in chief is a comic book lover.

Obama is the first president to have a starring role in a Marvel Comic. The comic will retail for $3.99 and is sure to sell out.

After finding out how much of a fan Barack Obama was of comic books and specifically, Spider-Man, Marvel made sure that they got to work on an issue where the two meet up.

Competition is not only the political but the comic also has the potential to be the foremost.
